What to expect when you contact Boovaraghavan & Co., from your first message to the start of the work.
1. When you get in touch
You can reach us on WhatsApp, by phone, by email or through the enquiry form on the website. Our office hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we usually reply within one working day. Messages received after hours are read the next working morning.
At this stage, a short description of your requirement is enough. Please do not send financial statements, PAN, Aadhaar, bank details or passwords in your first message.
2. The first conversation
We will ask about your business, what you need, your timelines and the records that are available. The aim is to understand the requirement and whether it fits our practice. If it does not, we will tell you so.
3. Scope and engagement letter
Before any work begins, the scope, deliverables, timelines, responsibilities and fees are agreed in a written engagement letter. Work starts once you have confirmed it. If the scope changes later, the change is agreed in writing too.
4. Information and documents
Once the engagement is agreed, we will send a list of the records we need. We will also agree a secure way to exchange documents. Please do not send documents over WhatsApp or ordinary email unless we have agreed to it.
5. Confidentiality
Information you share with us is kept confidential. This is a professional duty of Cost Accountants in practice under the Cost Accountants Act, 1959 and the Code of Ethics of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. It is shared only with those working on your matter, or where the law requires it. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.
6. Independence
Where we are appointed as your cost auditor, professional rules limit some other services we may provide to you. If this applies, we will explain it at the start.
7. During the engagement
You deal directly with the proprietor, CMA Boovaraghavan R. Progress updates follow the schedule agreed in the engagement letter. Findings and outputs are reviewed by the proprietor before anything is issued.
8. Staying safe
We contact clients only from +91 70100 11800 and office@boovaraghavanandco.in. We never ask for OTPs or passwords. If you receive a message claiming to be from us from any other number or address, please check with us before responding.
9. Verify our registration
Boovaraghavan & Co. is registered with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India under Firm Registration Number (FRN) 007425. The proprietor's ICMAI membership number is 56998. You can check the firm on the ICMAI firm list ↗ and the membership on the ICMAI member search ↗.
