Textile Processing and Dyeing
In short
- For dyeing, bleaching, printing, compacting and finishing units in Tiruppur, Erode and Karur.
- Most work on fabric that belongs to someone else, for a rate per kilogram.
- The rate has to cover dyes, steam, water, effluent treatment and the batches that come back for reprocessing.
What usually goes wrong
- A dark shade uses several times the dye and more water and time than a light one. One average rate hides the difference.
- Treating and recovering water is a large, steady cost, whether the unit runs its own plant or shares a common one.
- A batch dyed twice earns once.
- Fabric worth far more than the processing charge passes through the unit every day.
What we do for you
- We cost each kilogram by shade and process: dyes and chemicals from the recipe, steam, water, power and machine time.
- We build a rate card from that cost.
- We work out effluent treatment cost per kilogram, and check common-plant charges against use.
- We track reprocessing and rejections by shade, machine and customer.
- We keep job-work records by customer: fabric received, processed, returned and still held, and process loss against the agreed allowance.
- We work out the GST credit position, and the records job work needs.
We work from your own records, and we show you how each figure was worked out.
