Tax you deduct in a month is paid to the Government by the 7th of the next month. March is the exception for : tax deducted in March can be paid until 30 April. collected in March is still due by 7 April.

Every quarter, the TDS you deducted and the TCS you collected are reported in a statement, due on the last day of the month after the quarter ends. From 2026-27, the TCS statement () follows the same dates as TDS; it used to be due on the 15th. Certificates to the people you deducted or collected from follow 15 days after that.
